Great for Hard TurnsOct 05, 2010

It took me a while to learn to love this disc because it has a very pronounced bank, making it great for short to moderate throws, and it loves to be chucked hard. There are two things this Whamo "World Class 140 Gram All Sport Frisbee" is not; it is not the same disc as the similarly named but fatter-lipped Whamo-O "All Sport Frisbee 140g" (which is more of a mid-size ultimate disc), nor is it anything like the old Wham-O World Class 141g of the 1980s, which has a much softer break to facilitate distance. (The closest replica of the ol' 141 is the Daredevil 140g Junior Ultimate.) If you're teaching someone to throw and they're having trouble seeing the arc, this one will certainly curve. Because the angle is so pronounced, it's the best disc to learn to skip off the bricks.
